Wow, that is very cool about the APA. I'll confess that I am not a conference-goer because of all the time and travel and trouble it involves (and $$$), but it would be great if more of what happened at conferences were accessible online. Super!!!
And yes, I am a huge fan of Blogger.com - I've been using it for what must be like 10 years now in various ways and under various names, and I really like the routine that I've established with that. The Ning has its advantages and I really enjoy playing around with it, but I do my real work at Blogger and am soooooo happy with the results! :-)

Thank you so much for your kind words! The tool that I use to create those widgets (RotateContent.com) is something one of my former students wrote - isn't that amazing? He created it kind of as an experiment, and it has turned out to be essential to my teaching (I use it for the websites I use in my actual English online courses for Univ. of Oklahoma) - plus it is so much fun to use it in making the Latin widgets. Now if only there were just MORE TIME for the fun things, ha ha. :-)

Hi Chris! All is fairly well. I can't remember if I told you that I passed the oral defense of my prospectus in November. In fact, it went very well. I'm now writing (and reading and looking etc). My first chapter is roughly due (in rough form) by the end of January. So, you can guess how I've spent part of the holidays! Hope you are well. After I do a little more writing, I may take you up on your offer to be a reader.

All best and happy new year!

Bob

Hello Chrysanthemum! I have seen you over at eClassics, but I had not seen your blog before - super!!! I just sent a note to the LatinTeach list hoping more people could be cajoled into blogging for 2009! Wouldn't it be great if everybody were blogging...??? The collective knowledge would be enormous!
Meanwhile, I think we can at least arrange VIRTUAL flowers in March, ha ha. Happy New Year! :-)
