- Hii Dan, Evan's stuff is absolutely the way to go - I used to be a Latin profesor but resigned the job in a conflict with my department over exactly these kinds of issues - the way that Latin is traditionally taught is not so much as a language but as a kind of strange verbal jigsaw puzzle, which makes it so much harder and frustrating than it needs to be. I keep on doing Latin online just as hobby - it's actually much more fun this way than when it was my "real job" ... :-)

And you are in Oxford: how lovely!!! I did a master's degree at Oxford back in the 1980s - I have many nice memories of that time. You can certainly find some Latin treasures to look at in the libraries there.
What stage are you at in your Latin studies? I hope the materials here at the Ning can prove useful to you, and I've got some other materials online that you might find useful also, depending on where you're at and what your interests are. Let me know if you have questions/suggestions! :-)
