That "vitrea fortuna" proverb is a perfect example of how a proverb is like a little poem built on a metaphor! With Oerberg, things just get better and better: the readings towards the end of the book are so cool! Disce et gaude!

Hi Shelley, Oerberg is the best textbok, I think - super! You could do the simple noun-only proverbs I bet - if you start with Group 1 here, they are just the basic kinds of nouns, and no verbs except est. I think they are a lot of fun: very short, but sometimes you can find one that really manages to say a lot. :-)
