Hello Nigel, there is so much you can see and do with Latin if you are living in the United Kingdom: Latin was a living part of the language of that land, and not so long ago! That's the kind of vivid experience with the Latin language that American students are lacking: looking at photographs of Latin inscriptions on buildings is not the same as looking at the building itself, right there in a town that once had a true Latin name of its own. Exciting! :-)
